virtual disk feature

I was reading the online help file to try and understand the feature - VIRTUAL DISK
but I am not clear about the same. Could you explain to me in a little depth, what this feature is and how I can use it for software testing of which I do a lot. Is it different from a full new backup? Does the virtual disk survive reboots? Can I test software that require reboots?

Thanks

Hi Keskar:

The DAYU Disk Master simulates a real hard disk, so you can use this hard disk to test third-party software.
for example: disk backup, disk recovery, disk clone, move/resize partiton, data recovery, partition manager, and so on.
Because the virtual disk is working after the operating system to work properly, so we suggest you better not to test software the require reboots.

Best regards
