What Is "Integrate to Recovery Environment"?
"Integrate to Recovery Environment" is a step-by-step wizard in Qiling Disk Master, which aims to add Qiling software installed on computer into Windows operating system equipped recovery environment (RE). After integration is completed, you can directly make use of the Qiling software under the recovery environment. The Qiling software available to be added into RE include Qiling Disk Master and Qiling Disk Master.
This wizard makes it more convenient to use Qiling Disk Master and/or Qiling Disk Master to fix some computer problems and protect data under recovery environment. When using partition software, some operations need to restart computer to boot into recovery environment (PreOS Mode) to finish, such as migrate OS to SSD and shrink system partition. As for Qiling Disk Master, it's very easy to restore original system back from backup image file in recovery environment without bootable media.
Integrate Qiling Disk Master and/or Qiling Disk Master to Recovery Environment
Before you do, please make sure that:
- Your operating system is Windows 7 or later version, Windows 8/8.1/10 or Windows Server 2008 R2/2011/2012/2012 R2/2016, because only these systems have recovery environment.
- The recovery environment is good and complete, and the computer can boot into RE normally.
- The Qiling software you want to add into RE is not been using by another process.
Step 1: Click "Tools" > "Enable PreOS" in the top of Qiling Disk Master main interface.
Step 2: Waiting to finish integrate to recovery environment. When it is complete, click "Finish" to exit.
Then, you can use Qiling Disk Master and Qiling Disk Master in your system recovery environment.
How to Use Qiling Software in Recovery Environment?
To get into RE, different operating system has unlike procedures. Reboot your pc and select Disk Master Environment.
How to remove Qiling Software in Recovery Environment?
Click "Tools" > "Disable PreOS" in Qiling Disk Master main interface.
