File does not exist error when attempting to restore backup

if you made system backup, and when recovery, disk master will prompt you to do system restore, you can click 'YES' button.
Note: if you do system recovery, disk master will delete old data of the entire system disk.

If your system partition and boot partition is not same partition, you can recovery system partition firstly with selected a partition to recovery.

The Disk Master will do partition recovery if you select the c: partition from the backup to restore. the Disk Master will restore to the destination partition, and other partition on disk are not affected.

The Disk Master will do disk recovery if you select disk from the backup to restore. the entire destination disk will be writed new data.

There was a problem recognising the partitioning of my internal hdd. When this happens QDM only spits out errors and none of the destination disks can be selected. This also causes any partitioning tools included with QDM to be useless. I have found it extremely difficult to solve this problem. Creating partitions with other partitioning tools was not enough. I ended up doing a completely fresh Windows install after which QDM was able to find my destination disks again.

I did't understand what you means. Is This disk not damaged?
Are the system partition and boot partition different partitions?

If the disk is not damaged, it will be OK when you restore your system with disk recovery.

@support The disk has no errors, it is brand new. What is strange is that the error occurs depending on the current state of the disk (I.e. partitioned / formatted or not and how) , and that also all other destination disks disappear when there is an error.

Dear Support, where can I find these files? Please note that I have restored the system image after having performed a fresh Windows 7 x64 installation. The error occurred when booting QDM from CD.

The log files(vDiskUI.log and agent.log) was in the install path, such as C:Program FilesQILINGDisk Master.

If the error occurred on WinPE, it maybe no drivers for harddisk in the WinPE, you can create the bootable media on this PC again.
